All-star Chronographs
21 years ago in 1983, SEIKO invented the quartz
chronograph. Today the whole chronograph category

age with the new Sportura design. 7 models, 4
different chronograph movements and one common focus
- the
precise timing of sport. All 10 bar, all with
non-reflective sapphire crystals, all solid steel
with screw back cases. A

avant-garde designs. For 2004, the new collection
expresses both
this elegant character and the SEIKO vision of
innovation and refinement. Innovation takes the form
of a glass
construction in which the numerals float within the
cured hardlex glass. And the refinement is in the
design;
inspired by the ave shape of the light in the Aurora
Borealis and the water in a still pool when rippled
by a falling
stone.
Vivance
As vivacious as life
Two new designs join the Vivance Collection. All 13
new models are durable to the touch and surprising
to the eye, with highlights in the unique Frost
Finish and diamond dial models, some wit
mother-of-pearl.
Arcturara
The signature of Kinetic
The star collection of SEIKO's global advertising is
extended with 8 new models incorporating the Kinetic
Chronograph, Kinetic Auto Relay and Kinetic
movements that are unique to SEIKO. And for 2004. 3
new Kinetic
Chronograph models have a see-through movement. Some
models feature beautiful Champaign dials.
The new Kinetic Chronograph caliber is a remarkable
advance in watch-making, combining the very best of
traditional watch-making with the most advanced
Kinetic technology. It is the fusion of tradition
and modernity, of
human expertise and micro electronics. No battery
change, 5 months autonomy on full charge.
Chronograph 1 10
1/5 second up to 45 minutes, with heart-can
snap-to-zero mechanism.
Kinetic Auto Relay
All the functions of Kinetic, but with Seiko's
unique Auto Relay function. When not work for 72
hours, it puts itself
to sleep, ready to awaken at any time up to four
years latter, and automatically reset itself .
